About Mèsan

Mèsan means nine in Yoruba; a language spoken in Nigeria, where creator and designer of Mèsan was born and partially raised. The number represents the her birth month, September. The love of textile and fashion was passed down from her grandmother, to her mother. It was woven into her childhood as she observed her mother operate a successful textile import business in Nigeria. She began hand sewing at the age of 7 and when she was ready, Mèsan was born.

Mèsan aims to diversify the sustainable fashion community. We create high quality items that create a feeling of confidence and playfulness. An ode to showing up in the world authentically.
